Peer Recovery Specialist I, Certified, Full-time contractual, deadline 6//1/23
Description: This position will provide peer recovery support services to clients with a substance use disorder, mental health disorder, and/or a co-occurring disorder to help them begin and maintain a path to recovery.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduating from an accredited high school or possessing a high school equivalency certificate. The desired candidate should have experience working with substance use disorders (SUD) and crisis intervention and possess certification as a peer recovery specialist through the State of Maryland or be willing to work toward a certification once hired. Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist within 24 months from the date of hire from the Maryland Addictions Professional Certification Board.
