Covid-19 Testing Site Moving to Maryland House Travel Plaza on I95 in Aberdeen

The Covid-19 testing site operated by Omnipoynt Solutions at Cecil College in North East is moving to the Maryland House I-95 Travel Plaza in Aberdeen, MD. Drive-Thru testing at the travel plaza will begin on Mar. 14, and operating hours will be weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointments are necessary. 

Omnipoynt Solutions is consolidating its Cecil College and Harford County Ripken Stadium testing sites, which will be closing at 3 p.m., Friday, Mar. 11.

As at the previous sites, individuals will receive two tests, one rapid test with results available in about 15 minutes and one PCR test that will provide a confirmatory lab result within 48-72 hours. Lab results for the PCR test will be emailed to individuals.

Tests are free. However, individuals should bring their insurance card or bring a government-issued ID if they are uninsured. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children to be tested.
