Behavioral Health

Welcome to the Division of Behavioral Health Services (410-996-5106) within the Cecil County Health Department.

The Division of Behavioral Health serves as the local behavioral health authority responsible for planning, managing and monitoring the local public behavioral health system.  The division contracts with community agencies for crisis response services, mental health treatment for incarcerated individuals, and behavioral health training for law enforcement.  In addition, the division provides harm reduction, school-based-early intervention, care coordination, vocational coaching, and navigation to mental health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring treatment and recovery support services.

Recovery from mental health and substance use disorders is possible, and we are here to support you.

For help connecting with behavioral health services and related resources, call the Cecil Addiction Treatment Coordination Hotline (CATCH) at 443-245-3257.  CATCH  is available 24/7 and serves as an accessible entry point into the regional continuum of behavioral health services.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call #988 or Affiliated Sante at 888-407-8018.  For all other emergencies, call 911.
