Family Connections Meetings Start Dec. 6

Family Connections, is friendly meeting of new and first-time parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, or a single parent or grandparent who share their stories and receive supportive, affirming guidance. “It takes a village to raise a child,” is as true today as when it was first uttered. Take advantage of this opportunity to build your village. Of, course the children are encouraged to come and join the gathering.
Meetings will take place at branches of Cecil County Library on Monday afternoons in December from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The first meeting will be held Dec. 6 at the North East Branch of the Cecil County Public Library. The schedule may rotate between libraries in the county.
RSVP to the Family Connections Group here. Information on this form will guide the discussion topics, so please share your ideas.
Please remember to bring your mask to the group as masking and social distancing during the meeting will be required. If you have questions or would like additional information, please call the Cecil County Health Department Division of Health Promotion at 410-996-5168.
