The Cecil County Health Department is requesting applications for grants to community organizations to advance health equity and improve overall health in identified priority areas by addressing social determinants of health (SDOH). Identified health priority areas are outlined in Cecil County’s Community Health Improvement Plan for FY 2026-2028 and include access to health services, mental health & suicide, and substance abuse.

The goal of the grant is to provide funding for projects aimed at addressing areas of social need and other factors in the county that contribute to negative health outcomes and health inequities.
