Transportation for Healthy Lifestyles Assistance Program
Cecil County residents may be eligible for transportation assistance provided by the Healthy Lifestyles Assistance Program.*
Program staff can schedule and pay for transportation to support groups, medical and mental health care, nutritional services, fitness classes and gyms, diabetes prevention and management classes, trips to grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and food banks.
To qualify for these services, you must have at least one of the following:
- Diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus
- Diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes
- Had a diabetic or prediabetic blood test result
- Scored 5 or more on the CDC Prediabetes Risk Assessment
