Heat Advisory
The National Weather has a heat advisory in effect tomorrow, July 21, from 11 am to 8 pm. The heat index values will be around 105 to 109 with the highest values in southern Maryland. along with the heat, the humidity will be at high levels also. The temperatures will be above average throughout the weekend into Monday.
Air Quality Alert is in effect for today and tomorrow. National Weather has issued a Code ORANGE Air Quality Alert for Northern Maryland.
Code ORANGE means that the air pollution concentration is unhealthy for sensitive groups. Those groups include children, People suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases and the elderly population. I have no doubt we will still be in a Code Orange tomorrow.
