Living Well with Chronic Conditions Program Begins Soon

The Living Well with Chronic Conditions Program is a free workshop conducted virtually once a week, for six weeks, beginning March 16 through April 27 on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. People with different chronic health problems are encouraged to attend. Trained leaders, many with chronic conditions, facilitate the program.

Typically ten to sixteen participants in each workshop learn how to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain, and isolation, exercise, use medications appropriately, communicate effectively with, eat healthy, make good decisions, and evaluate new treatments. Each participant will receive a manual and relaxation CD following completion of the workshop.

Interested individuals or healthcare providers wishing to refer individuals should call Ashley Dickens-York at 410.996.5168 or Heike Button at 410.996.8170 to register for a free workshop.
